Self-Storage Movers in Singapore

Already booked a self-storage unit? Move Move can move household or business items into it, out of it or between units. You keep the facility contract and access; we quote the transport, manpower, handling and physical route.

Self-storage moving service

The unit is only one stop in the route

A good self-storage move connects the origin, the facility loading route and the unit door. For a move out, it also plans the destination. Move Move sizes the crew and vehicle for that physical journey instead of treating the warehouse address as the whole job.

This page is for a unit you have selected. The storage operator controls your rental, deposits, access rights and unit rules; Move Move controls only the moving work in the written quotation.

Three self-storage moves

Into, out of or between units

01Origin → Facility

Move into self-storage

Collect from an HDB, condo, landed home, office or other agreed origin and place items at the booked unit handover point.

02Facility → Destination

Move out of self-storage

Collect the agreed inventory from the unit and deliver it to the new home, office or other confirmed destination.

03Unit → Unit

Transfer between units

Move the agreed items between units or blocks after the operator confirms the route and access window.

Plan all three checkpoints

Origin, facility and destination

01 · Origin

Can the load leave cleanly?

  • Property type and floor
  • Lift, stairs and corridor turns
  • Parking or loading position
  • Inventory, packing and dismantling
02 · Facility

Can the vehicle and load reach the unit?

  • Exact branch, building and unit
  • Loading bay and vehicle clearance
  • Goods lift, floor and corridor distance
  • Door dimensions and operator window
03 · Destination

What is the agreed second route?

  • Final address and access window
  • Lift, stairs and carrying distance
  • Placement or reassembly scope
  • Authorised handover contact

Singapore access brief

Property rules at one end can change the whole schedule

Send the actual access conditions before crew allocation. A smooth storage-unit move depends on more than distance on a map.

HDB origin or destination
Parking position, lift availability, corridor turns, staircase handling and the permitted work window.
Condominium
Managing-agent or MCST rules, loading bay, service-lift booking, vehicle clearance and any approved move window.
Office or commercial site
Goods lift, loading dock, security registration, building-management access and after-hours restrictions if applicable.
Self-storage facility
Branch, unit floor, lift booking, loading route, corridor distance, unit door and operator contact.

The facility route is part of the quote

Match the lorry, crew and handling to the access

Vehicle height limits, loading-bay rules, carrying distance and unit-floor access can affect the crew, timing and equipment. Confirming them early reduces avoidable waiting and helps the facility handover run in the allotted window.

Who controls what?

Separate the move from the unit contract

Move Move quotation

  • Inventory and access assessment
  • Vehicle, transport and manpower
  • Packing or dismantling when listed
  • Move into, out of or between units
  • Placement at the agreed handover point

Customer and facility operator

  • Unit selection, size and availability
  • Rental, deposit and operator charges
  • Access rights, code and identification
  • Facility booking, by-laws and permitted items
  • Direct-access hours and insurance offered by the operator

What the moving quote prices

Transport and handling—not your unit rent

The cost depends on the item list, the vehicle and crew, access at each stop, facility distance, carrying route, packing or dismantling and whether the job has one or two transport legs.

Third-party unit rent, deposits, operator handling and other facility fees remain between you and the self-storage operator.

Self-storage moving questions

Confirm the unit, route and work

Does Move Move provide or rent the self-storage unit?

Not on this page. You select and contract the third-party unit. Move Move quotes the move into, out of or between the agreed units.

What details does a self-storage mover need?

Send the origin, facility branch, unit floor and door details, inventory, loading bay, vehicle clearance, lift or stairs, corridor distance, access window and final address if the job includes a move out.

Can Move Move move both household and office items into self-storage?

Yes, subject to the confirmed inventory, facility rules, access and written scope. Household furniture, cartons and suitable business inventory are planned around the actual route.

What affects the cost of moving into a storage unit?

The main factors are inventory, vehicle and manpower allocation, origin access, facility loading and lift routes, carrying distance, packing or dismantling and whether there is a second destination. Unit rent and operator fees are separate.

Can the crew transfer items between units in the same facility?

Yes, when the facility permits the route and the unit, lift, corridor, timing and inventory are confirmed in advance.

What if I have not selected a storage unit?

Use the Move Move storage service page instead. It covers a mover-managed collection, storage period and return journey rather than transport to a unit you control.
